Met a couple of hikers a short distance on
the way back down from Pastrana - spotted them a short distance away, as I was stopped to take some scenery
photos. I asked “Espagnol?” …No.. “English?” …No..“Deutch?” …No.. “Français?”
….Oui! So it was easy to ask them if they would mind taking a few photos of me, using
my camera and, of course, they obliged. The couple were from France - they said that they have been coming to vacation on La Gomera for about 10 years,
and that they were renting a place up in Pastrana – a great starting spot for
hikers.
Volcanic rock full of holes - remarkable
geology here!
Buildings
in the village of Pastrana.......
Coming home in mid-April - will be looking for airplane tickets this week. Hoping to fly out this time,
instead of taking the ferry from San Sebastian.
