Valdivia Week #17

Last weekend was filled with the festivities of Semana Valdiviana or Valdivia Week - one of the floating music stages. 

The festival takes place during the last week of February - Saturday, which is the culminating activity of the Valdivia Week.  Looking north towards the hotel and casino….



It consists of a parade of larger and smaller vessels “festooned thematically”, ending with a great spectacle of fireworks which lasts 20 minutes, and is done in the Calle Calle River.
