Could not do this ride last year, as the Trail
was blocked at the second trestle bridge.
Even today, there were still signs at the
second parking lot, that the trail is closed there. They just forgot to take
the signs down.
The bridge was open - nice new wood all the
way. The actual end is at a big red steel gate, which is the entrance to
private forestry land
The out-and-back ride, from my Airbnb in Sooke,
was a little over two hours, including the stops for photos, and a chat with an
older gent with an e-bike at the trail end.
Kapoor is a small park just north of the
Potholes, with the trail end only about a km north of here.
