My departure was October 24/24 – the last direct flight of the season from Montreal to the Azores, which makes a nice shortcut. Still, a one day layover in Azores, and then a short stopover on Gran Canaria, before arrival at the final destination, Tenerife.
I have had flight layovers on Tenerife a
couple of times in the past, but never actually stayed there. This time, I will
be staying in the town of Tegueste, about a twenty minute drive from the
Airport.
As the camera was handy, I also took a few photos of my Airbnb in Tegueste and the outside surroundings. Rent for the five months is just over $9500.
Funny thing about this place – they have
entrance/exits on two different streets. The one on the north side is for
the car park, with a remote-operated gate – practical for getting the bike
in/out as well.
Distance to the Old Town Centre is just under 2 kms, but it is all uphill, heading east.
