Cruz de Tejeda cont'd #16

One thing I discovered is that many of the roads marked on the map as Secondary are actually better paved than parts of the Primary road.

The descents on GC-14 and 42 are pretty crazy – enough switchbacks to make you dizzy.
Evidently the Secondary roads have been paved more recently than some old sections of Primary roads, which have either a rough asphalt top or cracked and crumbly pavement, or both.

GC-21 between Teror and Valleseco has many such bad sections, usually around a 100m long.
Closer to Artenara and everything after that, is pretty much all nice smooth asphalt.
