South America cruise/Iguassu Falls -#1 - February 23 to April 2nd /2018...

 We followed this blogger on his previous trips, including the last one to Alaska/Japan, and now we are going to follow him on a South America cruise and tour of Iguassu Falls.

Cost:  Holland America, including airfare from Jacksonville to Buenos Aeries - $10334 - Cost of Avanti vacation, including return flight from Iguassu Falls, was $2236, and the flight from Miami home was $181 American dollars.

We were staying 3 nights in Buenos Aeries at the Brick Hotel with Avanti, then flying to the Iguassu Falls, staying there for two nights, and then back to Buenos Aires for two nights with Holland America.

On February 23^rd, 2018, left Jacksonville at 7 pm to Miami, waited there for just over two hours, and then to Buenos Aires.  This was a 10 hour flight, but the movies and food were good.  I arrived there at 10 o'clock Saturday morning February 24^th.   Then waited for my travelling companion - 1 1/2 hours wait – the same travelling companion as on my other trips.

Avanti met us at the Airport and drove us to the Brick Hotel.  I changed money at the airport, because you will need pesos for taxis and small purchases.

After a rest, we took a taxi to a mall to repair my camera.  Taxis are very reasonable here - usually only $5 - 6/ride but you have to pay with pesos.  We had a late lunch in the food court – hamburger w/fries.

Be sure and get a business card from the hotel for the taxi driver on the way back.  After lunch, back to the Brick Hotel for a good nights sleep.
