Staying
in Los Llanos de Aridane for just one night/day, because the apartment in
Puntagorda was not available on March 5th. Very lucky that the owner offered to
host me for the one extra night in Los Llanos de Aridane.
I
also got a free ride to Puntagorda, instead of having to take another taxi (I
think it is 15 or 20kms farther north along the western slope). The apartment building - blue one in the
middle.
According
to the previous night’s taxi driver, Puntagorda is “The End of the World” along
with the local region, which is called Garafia.
Many Canary Islands tourism websites and facebook pages often feature photos from Garafia.
The
terrain is undoubtedly steep and challenging: We shall soon see how navigable
it is by bike.
