Saturday, Sept 16 – At 9 am, we took the
bus down to the Seattle Aquarium. Get
off the bus at the Harbor steps, and enjoy the stairs walking down – there is
an elevator for coming back.
First, to the Aquarium ($28) –
enjoyable. After about two hours, then
walked to Miners Landing and had breakfast at
Sourdough Bakery – breakfast sandwich, brownie/coffee ($10).
Then to the Ferris Wheel ($12) – this
was at the end of the Pier, plus a carousel.
We then took the bus to Pioneer Square,
but there were hardly any tourists around and pretty run down, so we took
another bus to Bell and 3rd Street, and went to Mama’s Cantina ($18),
and we split a giant burrito (good) for dinner.
After a little shopping, then took the
bus back to the hotel.
