Nice little 2bdrm apartment (€41/night) on
the upper floor of the building in Puntagorda, with a veranda perfectly suited for assembling
the bike, maintenance, etc. Door to my apartment for the next 1.5 months
(have not booked a return flight yet)...
Pretty much all the necessary amenities, EXCEPT
for an oven - I asked for a toaster oven
so that I could roast chicken legs and bake pizza. The washing machine is outside the apartment,
for common use by other tenants (not sure yet, there might be two or three).
Evenings/nights are quite chilly here, so have
to put on extra clothes.
The
SPAR supermarket is about a minute walk away -- most of that being just getting
out of the property, with locked gate. Well
stocked, so I bought a ton of groceries on my first visit. A view from the apartment, including seeing how
the column is painted….
Well,
that did not take long - just received a brand new toaster oven (28 L, 1,500 W
Complete with Instruction manual) - Bravo!
