Vancouver to Japan cruise/Trafalgar tour - #10 - September 26 to October 23/2017...
On Sunday, October 15th,again there was heavy rain.We walked over to Wendys (you can see Wendys
from the hotel room) for breakfast (just about the same price as at home) and
then walked around downtown for about an hour and a half. Jim Beam whiskey is sold at Wendys.....
Then came back to the hotel for a rest….And then walked around the hotel annexes (lots of
high end stores and restaurants) for about two hours.
Then we went for dinner at Satsuki, a restaurant
located right in the hotel.I had a hamburger
deluxe with a beer ($30).We noticed that every restaurant had a basket
under the table, to hold purses and parcels.Also, we noticed that lots of Japanese like cake in the restaurant.
The Japanese like to decorate manhole covers. We met the Trafalgar tour in the hotel at 7 o’clock
that night.There was a tour guide and
an assistant, both with good English.They
had a little dinner - sushi and deep fried vegetables with a green tea
alcoholic dinner - in the Kato
restaurant in the hotel.
There was only 17 people on this tour (lots of
Australians) so plenty of room on the bus.
