Monday, October 16th - we had an included breakfast
with Trafalgar during the three days we spent here - we ate on the 40th
floor. Good buffet breakfast, and amazing
views...
We met at 9 o'clock in the front of the hotel, and
boarded Trafalgar's bus. Again, heavy
rain. First, we went to the Senso-Ji Temple - a very busy
place - we climbed the Temple stairs and heard the monks chanting inside. There
were lots of sights around, including a garden with a Buddha, and there were
numerous stalls. Everybody had an
umbrella, so quite difficult to walk.

Then we went to a restaurant and made sushi. There was a Chef to teach us, and we had the
sushi for lunch. We did take our shoes off....
We then went shopping for about ninety minutes in Ginza,
Tokyo's main shopping area. Again, so
raining out, you did not want to walk between stores - we found a Department
Store, simply waited there, but quite interesting.
Then back to the hotel after that. We ate in the
same restaurant in the hotel - Satsuki - I had a pizza and a beer ($25).
