On Monday, February 26th, we again took a Viatour tour – $100 – bus tour and cruise in Buenos Aeries. A smaller bus picked us up at the Brick hotel about 8:30 am and was just about full.
First, we toured the Metropolitan Cathedral, and then to Caminito (Artists quarter). We bought a few souvenirs here.
The bus
dropped us at the harbor (Tip $5) for a Rio de la Plata cruise and lunch.
The Cruise was quite full, and we had a very nice
lunch, which was served in the dining room inside the boat (Tip $5). We
took a cab back to the Brick Hotel.
There is a mall across from the Brick Hotel, with a hairdressing
salon (no appointments necessary) – many nice shops.
There is a row of restaurants just two blocks from the Brick Hotel. For dinner that night, we went to a pizza place, and that is what I had, plus a beer ($25).
