South America cruise/Iguassu Falls -#20 - February 23 to April 2nd /2018...

Sunday, March 25^th, was a sea day   Tonight was Gala night, and we went to the Pinnacle - green pea soup (very nice) chateaubriand and for dessert, chocolate cake. 

 

Monday, March 26^th, the Ship docked at Manta, Ecuador, and we took the Holland America excursion Best of Manta ($99.95).  The tour lasted for 6 hours and the bus was full.

We went to see how Panama hats were made - many bought hats - and then to a button making site. 

  Then to a little restaurant in the middle of the rain forest – there was an included bottle of coke here, and we made some plantation cheese balls.

Then to a beach (very hot) to see a turtle site, and then back to the Ship (Tip $5).

For dinner, chilled berry soup, pasta with ox tail, and for dessert, chocolate cake, and a beer.
