Verde champion Vady Fonseca and friends visited today at my apart-hotel. Very pleased to have finally met Vady in
person - what a charming man!
I was not sure if we could communicate, but he
speaks almost perfect English, so there was no problem at all (apologies for my
lack of knowledge of Portuguese).

While
not excessively hot during the day, evenings are nice and cool -- sometimes
long pants are in order. It might be
hotter in summer though - this is 16°30" N latitude, so I imagine that it
does warm up a bit in July and August.
